Are we the Right Fit? Let’s Find Out
You might be here because you want to get clear with your communications, gain a fresh burst of confidence, or figure out a plan that actually works for you. I can absolutely help you with all those things, but I know before working together you probably want to check we’re a great match.
So, let’s dive in…
Who you might be
I work with creative people and organisations in the arts, culture, entertainment, and media.
You might be:
A creative freelancer, artist, solo-entrepreneur, practitioner, or small business owner. Maybe you’re just starting out, in the messy middle, or with years of experience behind you.
A leader, manager, comms pro, or part of a project team in a creative organisation.
Importantly, you care about what you do, want to connect with the right people, and are ready to do the work to make that happen.

We might be right for each other if…
You believe in the freedom to bring your full personality and character to your work.
Your work is driven by a bigger purpose that sits at the heart of all you do.
You care about the people you connect and interact with.
You’re willing to put in as much as you take out — in your work, your relationships, and the world.
We’re probably not a fit if…
You don’t care about the people on the other side of your interactions.
You want things to work like magic without taking action.
You’re closed-minded or unwilling to respect differences.
You have no interest in expanding your awareness or understanding of others.
Boundaries that matter
I have immense respect for my body, for all it’s done, all it’s survived, and everything it allows me to do, flaws and limitations included. I’ll always respect wherever you’re at in your own feelings about your body, and I ask that you respect mine. That means leaving any anti-fat bias and diet culture out of our conversations.
I have my arms wide open to everyone. It’s at my very core. But I won’t tolerate homophobic, racist, sexist, or ableist comments and views. It’s absolutely okay to be learning and to make mistakes, but it’s never okay to purposely harm others.
My belief in people being able to freely live their fullest lives without fear or retribution is one of the most fundamental aspects of who I am. I cannot ever express that strongly enough.
I make efforts to check my privilege, but I’m always learning. If I say or do something that doesn’t sit well, I want you to tell me. I’ll always want to listen.
If you’d like to know more about the principles that guide me, you can read my blog, 5 values at the heart of everything I do.
Do you have to be in the arts, culture, entertainment, or media?
Not necessarily. My experience in those industries gives me unique insight, but the principles of my Comms Legend framework apply anywhere. If you align with my values, I’m open to working with you.
And my Legendary Learning series of “do-it-yourself” online comms learning is available to anyone who wants to get stuck in to improving their communication and creating awesome connection.
If this sounds like you…
If you’re nodding along to most of this, chances are we’d work well together.
If you’d like to know more about where I’ve come from and why I work the way I do, you might enjoy my Origins Story. It’s a potted history of how I went from creative kid to Comms Legend. And if you want to peek behind the curtain at what it’s really like to work with me, What you really get working with this Comms Legend is the place to go.
And when you’re ready to explore working together, I’d love to hear from you.
